Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK?
A: The most important thing I want is for you to feel comfortable and relaxed. This is your time to have fun, feel the love, and enjoy your day. While I do give some direction to bring out real smiles, romantic moments, and playfulness, I’m also big on capturing candids. Natural light is my favorite, but sometimes a flash is needed in darker spaces, or when the sun goes down and the dancing starts. I edit my photography rich and sharp, and true to the colors of your special day. I’ve been developing my photography style, experience, and expertise since 2010. It is my joy and honor to be a part of so many love stories, and I am forever thankful to all my clients.
Q: CAN I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK?
A: I encourage you to postpone your date and keep your booking. I will honor your deposit on a future date as long as I’m not already booked on the new date. Refunded deposits will only occur if the cancelation has been made by me due to illness, death, emergency and/or any other unplanned unfortunate events. Otherwise deposit retainers are not refundable.
Q: WHY DO I NEED TO PAY A RETAINER TO RESERVE MY EVENT DATE?
A: The non-refundable retainer reserves your wedding date. This means any other inquiries for your date are turned down. That means the loss of potential jobs when a client cancels.
Q: DO I NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT AGREEMENT?
A: Yes. A contract protects the photographer as well as the client, and helps to establish our agreement. Both partners must sign.
Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A: A 50% non refundable deposit and signed contract is required in order to save your wedding day date in my calendar. The remaining balance is due the day of the wedding.
Q: WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: I love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful and fun locations. Send me more information on your travel plans and I will see if I'm able to travel to your destination. Travel fees to be determined.
Q: CAN I PURCHASE THE RAW FILES?
A: I do not sell RAW files. When you hire a professional photographer, you are investing in their professional creative style. My photography is my work of art.
Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?
A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
A: I highly recommend ordering prints through the professional vendor available to order on your online gallery on PASS. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, but you can print anywhere you wish!
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: I use a Nikon D810, as well as a second backup Nikon. My go to lenses are a 24-70mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.8 and a 18-35mm f/4.5. I also have 2 off or on camera SB-910 flashes with 2 pocket wizards I use for receptions and night shots.
Q: DO YOU BACK UP PHOTOS?
A: Yes! Every event I photograph I use my dual card slot in my camera.
Your photos are shot in RAW on a CF and SD card. The images are then uploaded to Lightroom. This is basically a digital dark room where
I edit your images. I do not format (delete) the cards untill your photos have been uploaded to your online gallery. I keep your finalized edited images backed up on a seprate device for at least up to one year. It is important to always back up your images!
Q: DOES THE ONLINE GALLERY EXPIRE?
A: Yes. After 6 months your PASS gallery will expire. This is why it is SO important to download all your photos in high resoultion and back them up! Do not miss this step!
I do keep your finalized edited images backed up on a seprate device for at least up to one year.
